Bernard Wasow at the Century Foundation has a nice post on Obama’s and McCain’s tax proposals. He uses estimates by the Tax Policy Center to try to answer two key questions:
- What will happen to total tax collections under the two candidates’ proposals?
- How will taxes and after-tax income change for households at various points in the income distribution under the proposals?
